Risky Business

Edward T and Hilary finally just give up talking about 'Avatard' and start talking about taking risks in life - not the gambling/lottery ticket type of risk, but the change-your-life, going-to-a-different-career type of risk.

Turns out (not shockingly) that Hilary is a little risk averse and Edward T simply flies by the seat of his pants, trusting all will turn out just fine. A rather strange contradiction considering ETM is usually Mr. Grumpy. How does this all pan out?

Director's Cut

Hilary and Edward T set out to do a director's commentary on "Avatar(d)", but as always, wind up completely off-topic.

They are watching the film while recording, and hit the pause button. Things quickly go away from the film as they discuss miscommunication, working at the airport, backhoes & piles of dirt, the Incredible Bulk, and $6000 of hot tub work.

They try to get back on track, but instead they become Siskel & Ebert. They address action movies in general, how "Avatar(d)" is like a porn movie (or a romance novel), suspending disbelief, "The Lord of the Rings", Liv Tyler, perceptions of others & the world as a whole and Richard Gere in "Dr. T and the Women".

This is what Edward T used to do every day: A good example of a jetliner pushback on video.

Ungrateful

Edward T wonders why he has little joy and fewer women in his life. So he asks Hilary's opinion. She hesitates not and says he needs a dose of gratitude. And you can bet, he's pretty happy to hear that.
