Put A Ring On It
Hilary says that she read something, somewhere, at some point, that 75% of the couples going to marriage counseling actually wind up getting divorced. But is this fact or fiction? She and Edward T discuss this statistic and the methodology involved in the study and how the study eventually arrived at this conclusion.
ETM talks about his fury with scientific studies and with studies getting misinterpreted, both by scientists and the media, and Hilary shares her frustration with having her scientific work interpreted (or misinterpreted) by the media.
Edward T then shares his experience with marriage counseling and divorce. As a result, he and Hilary both find out that (once again), they are on opposite sides of the fence. One of 'em believes in marriage for life; one doesn't. Care to place any odds on who is whom?
