Edward T and Hilary took the Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous "40 Questions for Self-Diagnosis" right here on the show and they found out that they (apparently) weren't sex addicts. But Edward T had more questions than answers after taking the test, and wants to know more about SLAA.
So he's invited a member of SLAA to talk about her experience with sexual addiction and her recovery. Calling herself "Annie Savoy" (after Susan Sarandon's character in the movie "Bull Durham"), the anonymous member answers ETM's questions straight up and tells him how she became a sex and love addict, and how she is recovering from her obsessions and compulsions surrounding sex and love.
Edward T's main question revolves around his own experience with sexual abuse: How can one be liberated from the feelings, attitudes and behaviors that result from such abuse?
Considering the timeliness of the subject (e.g. the Penn State / Jerry Sandusky scandal), the answers may surprise you, and some of the myths surrounding sexual abuse and sexual behavior might just get shattered by the end of the show.
Find out for yourself.
**Please note that we have altered Annie's voice to completely protect her anonymity, so her voice may sound a little unusual**
